Public Works Week Wraps Up

Saturday, May 23 marks the close of National Public Works Week, and the City of Fife used this week to recognize the crews who keep daily services moving. The city highlighted the local work behind roads, sidewalks, water, sewer, and storm systems, noting that Fife public works staff maintain 44 lane miles of roadway, 41 miles of sidewalks, 85 miles of water mains, and 41 miles of sewer pipes. It is a thoughtful reminder of the behind the scenes work that supports everyday life here.
