Road work continues on key routes

Two active road projects are affecting Washington Township drivers. The southbound left lane of M-53 at 32 Mile Road remains closed until further notice because of a township sewer infrastructure project, and Powell Road between 30.5 Mile and 32 Mile Road is closed to through traffic through July. Posted detours are in place, so a little extra travel time may help.
