Living History Weekend

Jones Beach State Park will host its 250th Signature Event and Living History program on Saturday, May 23, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Field 3 1/2 in Wantagh. State parks officials say the free event will feature a Revolutionary War village, reenactors portraying New York signers of the Declaration of Independence, encampments, George Washington, Benjamin Talmadge, a dragoon officer on horseback, a fife and drum band, colonial cooking, and Culper Spy reenactors. A parking fee will still be in effect.
