Apartment shoppers should expect longer searches in Calgary, Alberta for June 2026
Calgary, ABYes, and the pace is slower than the tighter segments. Apartment buyers can still find options, but the search works better when you expect more comparison and less urgency.
Apartment sales reached 403 last month, with 961 new listings, 2,070 homes in inventory, and 5.14 months of supply. The segment also posted a 96.8% sale-to-list ratio, which leaves room for discussion on price.
That tells buyers to be selective. The downside of a wider choice set is that it can tempt you to keep waiting, even when a good fit is already in front of you.
Decide what matters most before you start touring, keep your budget fixed, and compare each unit against the best active alternatives. If you see a condo that fits both the number and the condition, be ready to move while the competition is still manageable.
