Fieldhouse Work Continues

Construction remains active at the Belmont Fieldhouse and Library site this month. The latest City update says foundation work is complete, structural steel has arrived, and erection of the steel frame began in January 2026. This is one of the biggest long-term civic projects in the community, with a future indoor fieldhouse, public library space, meeting rooms, and outdoor learning areas planned for Belmont. Residents should expect an active construction presence through May as the project continues toward its planned 2027 opening period.
