The 15th Annual Kids Fishing Derby is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, at the Community Park fishing pond, 3601 S. 14th Street. The Minnow Division for ages 4 to 7 checks in by 8:45 a.m., fishes from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and holds awards at 11 a.m. The Bass Division for ages 8 to 12 checks in by 11:15 a.m., fishes from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and holds awards at 1:30 p.m. Registration is required, and the city lists June 6 as the rainout date.
