Wood Lake Work Continues

Wood Lake Nature Center remains in construction mode this month, but the trails are still open for visitors and many programs and camps are continuing in Richfield parks and at Wood Lake. The building itself is closed to the public while work moves ahead, including siding that began in late April and early May. Visitors are being directed to park on 69th Street just east of Lyndale and use the Lyndale Avenue entrance at 69th and Lyndale. The city says the new nature center building is scheduled to open in fall 2026.
