About Longmont, CO

Discover what makes Longmont such a great place to live and explore.

Longmont sits on Colorado’s Front Range with a relaxed, down-to-earth feel and wide views toward the foothills, where crisp mornings often give way to bright afternoons that invite time outside. Old Town and nearby neighborhoods mix walkable streets, local shops, coffee spots, and a strong community calendar centered around Roosevelt Park and the museum. Residents appreciate easy access to the St. Vrain Greenway for biking and strolling, plus a solid lineup of breweries and casual restaurants for low-key nights out.

Living options range from classic bungalows and mid-century homes to newer subdivisions, townhomes, and apartment communities, giving buyers, sellers, and renters a variety of choices without losing that neighborly vibe. Many people like the balance of being close to Boulder and the broader Denver metro while still having a distinct hometown identity, with commuting routes along US 287 and CO 119 and quick connections toward I-25. With abundant parks, nearby open space, and everyday conveniences spread throughout town, Longmont tends to suit those who want an active lifestyle and a comfortable pace.
